Recently, I've had a main case of island envy, so much so that the whole thing. I'm pinning has a bold‐colored one that's pretty much the polar opposing of the rest of the cabinetry color‐wise.
1. Bright Blue
You pretty much can't be incorrect with a blue painted island, particularly in any sort of coastal location. I furthermore love the brass inlays and chevron detailing of this specific piece in this kitchen. It retains the blue color from sensation too cottagey, which can be a something with Shaker style cabinetry. Pairing the blue island with a row of gray bottom cabinets helps keep the look edgy as well.
First, we have a navy island‐certainly a bold best that stands out. And what‐s remarkable here is that with just a coat of paint, decorated the pretty paneling on standing island, made the kitchen way more lively, and made a visual buffer among kitchen and living room, which is grip in an open idea. I really think this creates the area look larger since it ‘s not only a sea of white. The navy improves definition.
Not so Basic Black
The dark island was so wonderful, here in my possess mother's kitchen with black paint‐so you know it's a good project plan.
Since we've viewed at islands that don't afraid from bold color. But I consider it's important to note that you can still make a showstopper accent piece and harden a kitchen ’s plan arrangement with a more understated, tonal color best.
Just Right White
Also, I consider it‐s just to similarly point out that white can be a lively optional for your island if the rest of your cabinetry is highlighted.
Sure, the larger island, the more remarkable. If you catch a right vintage painted table or cart at the market or whatever, some of the colors is going to be cutting off. But I really consider that supports its case as a kitchen focal point. Each angle you view an "island" like this from is going to be changed.
Make sure you choose the color correctly!
